A graduate of Dorchester Academy, Emily went on to earn her undergraduate degree from Newberry College and a Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in Severe and Multiple Disabilities from the University of South Carolina. She brings over 14 years of experience in special education, including five years as a classroom teacher and nine years providing direct interventions. Her work spans a variety of educational settings, supporting students from elementary school through their transition to independent adulthood. Emily is a skilled behavior interventionist, experienced IEP developer, and a facilitator of assistive technology.
