Clubs
Student government gives students a voice in the decision-making processes that affect their school experience. It provides a structured way for students to represent their peers, address their concerns, and contribute to school improvement.

Members engage in various activities such as organizing historical reenactments, visiting historical sites, collection and preservation of time capsules, archiving, and restoring DA’s historical artifacts. Sign ups in September for grades 8-12

Whether welcoming new students, leading school tours, participating in community service projects, or representing the school at events and functions, high school ambassadors are chosen by the administrator for their leadership qualities, academic achievements, and exemplary behavior. Their role is to promote a positive image of the school and to help create a welcoming environment for all.
Membership: Open to grades 8-12 for students who have been enrolled at DA for the last 2 consecutive years.​

The Beta Club is a national organization that promotes academic achievement, character, leadership, and service. Members participate in community service projects, leadership training, and academic competitions. The Beta Club aims to prepare students for future success by fostering a commitment to excellence and civic responsibility.

Club is open for membership in early September of each year. Students must be willing to attend meetings and participate in community service projects at the school, local, national, and/or international level.

Class Clubs
You're in the club! Each grade functions as a club with the kind of unity that comes with a club membership. Grades 9-12 vote for officers and get busy in leaving their class' legacy. Homeroom teachers serve as sponsors until 10th grade.

Envirothon
Goal 1: To promote a desire to learn more about the natural environment and equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to apply the basic principles and practices of resource management and ecology.
Goal 2: To promote stewardship of natural resources and to encourage the development of critical thinking, cooperative problem-solving, and decision-making skills required to achieve and maintain a natural balance between the quality of life and the quality of the environment.
