INTERACT CLUB
(Sponsored by the Local Rotary Club)

Purpose:
The Interact Club, sponsored by the local Rotary Club, is dedicated to organizing and supporting monthly community service projects at the school, local, national, and international levels. This club provides students with meaningful opportunities to engage in service, develop leadership skills, and make a positive impact in their communities.

Membership:

  • Open for enrollment in early September each year.

  • Membership is unlimited, but students must commit to attending meetings and participating in service projects.

  • Students may not miss more than two (2) meetings.

  • Members will be assigned to committees for project planning and execution.

  • Students must adhere to the NO PASS—NO PLAY POLICY and must not have undergone a disciplinary review with administration.

  • A parent/guardian signature is required to confirm the student’s commitment to club responsibilities.

Expectations:

  • Attend monthly meetings (held during Snack). Meeting schedules will be announced via High School TV and the Club Google Classroom.

  • Participate in at least three service projects:

    • One (1) in-school service project.

    • Two (2) community service projects.

  • Engage with the Rotary Club by attending a minimum of two (2) scheduled Rotary Club meetings (Wednesday mornings at 7:30 AM, location: St. George Baptist Church or as announced).

  • Juniors and Seniors are encouraged to participate in Coffee with Community Leaders.

Proposed Projects:

  • Fall Cornhole Tournament

  • Coffee with Community Leaders

  • Grant Project

  • Raffle Fundraiser
